Mommycat Monday (a little late)

The kitten stork arrived Monday June 29th! Kiki keep mewmie up all night, not because there were problems, but delivery can sometimes be a slow process. Her water broke about midnight but her contractions didn't start till about 7am. At 7:35 am, the first baby arrived~a little black boy. Then 10 minutes later~~a little blue cream girl. And then 2 hours later (a little long for mewmie comfort) the last kitten came into the world~~~the littlest one, a red classic tabby boy.

Kiki was a bit restless, not wanting to stay with her kittens but wanting to be with mewmie, but after a nice quiet night, all three kittens have gained weight and are content. Mewmie took the day off yesterday since she got no sleep~~she said it was Maternity Leave, HaHaMeow!

who we've named Blackberry, Bluberrie and Razzberry.

    Oh my gosh! Kittens again!!! I can't believe there was such a long delivery... and that the third came two hours after the second, if I read that right. After that I'd be paranoid another was in there coming hours later! Adorable and I am already hoping for some movies of the beebes.

    And thank you for the offer re: imovie advice. I may take you up on that this summer! It's a goal, though July is already upon us!

    Oh Teri I have never seen such a perfect bunch of berries in all my life! Mommy Kiki is so beautiful and I am glad she and kittens are doing so well. Enjoy those new treasures...and you maternity leave.
