Frootbat Friday!

Our friends know this pretty lil Frootbat, her name is Bebe and Teri says her pretty Flame Point coloration makes her look like she's been dusted with cinnamon sugar!

She and her mother were returned to us a year ago due to family problems and they both just went to the vets for their Wellness Exams and lab work. Teri was very worried as the vet heard a very loud heart murmur on Bebe that wasn't heard a year ago (although she did have a slight murmur as a kitten).

Teri has a prospective home picked out for Bebe, with a lovely young woman who recently lost her kitty from us to cancer.

She wanted to give Bebe, who is 10 years old now, another chance at happiness in her golden years...
But Teri didn't want to burden her with taking on a kitty with heart problems, without knowing what her prognosis was, etc...

So today, Teri and Bebe saw the specialists at CVCA (Cardiologists) and they got good news!

The murmur is caused by a mid septal ridge at the site of moderator band insertion-suspect congenital finding. The findings are currently not problematic.

Teri and Bebe's new owner can now rest easier and so they are making plans to meet up sometime in the next month or so, and soon, Bebe can start her new life with them...that makes Teri very happy to think of!
