ManCat Monday--Disco's Diet

We are just barely squeezing in a Monday post before Tuesday rolls around! But we wanted everyone to know, Disco lost 5 ounces this past week...Yay!

We was kinda worried cuz he didn't lose anything the previous week...and we skipped postin' about that...

He's down to 15# 8 ounces, and if he continues to lose 4 ounces a week...he'll be down to 15# by April Fool's Day...and ready for those Swim Trunks by summer!

Disco soakin' up the Florida sunshine, on the way back from a cat show called "A Kitty Love-In'...note he is still sportin' his tie dyed bandanna! 

Teri doesn't let us ride outside our PTU's but this is an old photo from when our Cat Daddy was alive and well...Teri says marriage is a compromise and Mike got his way, sometimes...hahameow!

Caturday Saturday

We know, we recently had a 2 Boys post, but Teri is so excited that Clem and Hero are doing so well together that yesterday she took a bunch of photos and we wanted to share them with you!

After just a week, they are eating off the same plate, and are interacting more socially.

Even a little groomfest that turned into a 'friendly' bitey-fest, hahameow.

We are all enjoying our weekend, napping and seeking out sunpuddles...hope you are all having a sunny Saturday, too!

Teri's friend, Voytek, had her over for dinner last night (she said she missed us kitties, though) and they had a gourmet meal.

The meal was inspired by his son, who is a sommelier at  Maze, one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants in New York City.

This inspirational meal was baked chicken breast on crisp polenta with a melange of diced root veggies...We would have liked a taste of that Chik-Hen!

Tomorrow, the weather is supposed to be nice again, in the 60's, so they are going sightseeing at some historical sites in Fredericksburg Virginia...then she promises she'll stick close to home all week so we can get in more laptime!

Wordy (Whiskerhump) Wednesday...

Ok... Let's get the humps out of the way first! This little 'rat-like' muzzle belongs to Brighton. He has very svelte whisker humps!

We know it's been a week since we had a chance to post something to our blog...but Teri's dating again and if you thought she had no time to help us before...well, now she's squeezing in posts late at night!

So to catch you up with what we've been up to, since we missed Fashion Friday, Caturday Saturday, and Mancat Monday...

Teri's friend, Voytek, came over and took her to the National Museum of the Marine at Quantico on Saturday....they were gone a couple of hours and Teri said it was a really good museum, not just Rah Rah War stuff but very moving and personal.

And then they came back and we got some laptime... and they ate Chinese food and watched a movie, so we got even more laptime in!

And then there was Disco's weigh-in on Monday, 15# 13 ounces...he gained 3 ounces cuz he was snacking on some Pawgevity Chicken Formula and it has greens (CARBS) in it...but it's all gone now, so he should lose some ounces this week!

and then tonight, Teri came home with a new toy for us...a HexBug Nano!

We had seen this toy on some other kitties blogs and today when Teri was at Michael's Craft Store buying some plastic flowers for our front yard (yes, we know that sounds kinda trashy, but here's some proof from last year that they really do look real!)

She saw a box of HexBugs sitting at the check out counter and she thought of us....Awwwww!

And here we are, tryin' to chase down that HexBug...way fun!!

So, as you can see, we've had a fun and busy week...we hope to have time to come visit your bloggies this weekend and see what all our furriends have been up to! Oh, and don't forget to "Hop"...
