Coco had her Xray taken yesterday, and she is carrying 5 kittens, not 3 like the vet palpated when she was 21 days along. And as you can see by the photo below, taken a week ago, she is pretty round in the middle!
And guess what? There are five families waiting for a kitten from Coco!
Her due date is January 28th and keep your paws crossed she has an easy delivery and healthy babies! She is a good mommy and this is her 5th litter and she's never had any trouble, but mewmie said she just won't rest easy til they have arrived, safe and sound!

ReplyDeleteYoung kittens are so fun. What a great thing that you can have them and that you have homes for them already. I will be watching and waiting.
ReplyDeleteConCats!!! You're going to make a GRRR-8 mommy!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI have a question. We had our almost 13 year old cat Nikki in for exrays on her leg. She has been limping so badly on her left leg and favoring it. Turns out to be her RIGHT ELBOW and it has arthritis in it. probably from an old injury. Why she is favoring the left leg is beyond me.. but they gave me Metacam per cc to give her one drop every other day for ten days and then to decrease it to every three days and then as needed. I could put her on some Condroiton too she said. Is this standard proceedure for arthritis? I dont want to ruin her stomach.
What a lovely tummy - and five kittens in there!
ReplyDeleteWe're keeping our paws crossed!
