Thankful Thursday

Teri's thankful she is is working again, and just finished her 2 week training period and got kudos from her supervisor!  She told her that she's been doing really well and that her tech skills are shining through, with great information for their clients and correct, too. She said she appreciates that Teri is on their team!!

We are getting used to her being out day hunting again, but she is still getting used to her 4pm to midnight shift, hence not too much blogging was happening while she was in training.

MamaKatz, enjoying some sunshine in the garden.
Now that she is on her normal schedule, she's gonna try and get on a regular blogging schedule, too! This week, her days off were taken up with raking leaves, helping a friend with a photo shoot and taking one of the kitties staying at our B & B to the vets for her yearly exam and vaccines.

Last week, we go some very sad news. . . The CatMom of Soc and Spike had a heart attack and passed away suddenly. Teri was very sad all week, because she had been telling Soc and Spike that they would soon be going back to live with their CatMom and now when she looks at them, she feels sorrow at their uncertain future.

Their CatDad was hospitalized recently and it may not be in their best interest to go back home to him right now. . . Teri is so conflicted about what to do, so she will take her time and make a decision with the kitties best interest at heart.

But she knows how important our love and support was after our CatDad died, so she has personal experience to guide her, too. But it will be a difficult decision to ponder for her.

And on a happier note, Teri has tried many things to deter us from unraveling the toilet paper, even fashioning a little toilet paper protector, hahameow! But on one of the cat groups she is on, she saw this suggestion and it works!

You take a liter plastic bottle, the kind that soda's come in. and you use a box cutter to cut a piece as wide as the toilet paper roll and you make a cut across the width of the circle and slide it over the roll. You take the first few sheets and guide it through the opening and use it without having to take it off the roll!

So we think that makes for a Thankful Thursday for Teri, even if we don't get to have fun playing with the rolls any more!
