We got an Award, our 16th!

The cats over at Bengal Cat Domination gave us this Award cuz they think we are Irresistibly Sweet! Cats don't have sweet taste buds, but Teri says it's the thought behind this award that is so Sweet! It's only taken us 5 weeks to finally get around to telling you all about it!

In accepting this award, the rules say we are to share 7 unknown facts about us, but Teri says she's old and can't remember if these facts are really unknown, but let's just say some of these facts we'd rather not dwell on, hahameow!

1. Coco pees in the bathroom sink sometimes. Behaviorists call that 'The Sink Hole Effect' and is not uncommon cat behavior. Disco does it, too

2. Brighton takes his treats and runs into the living room to eat them...one at a time.

3. Sammy likes taking baths, but it makes him pee in the tub when the water is turned on.

4. Disco grows a lot of fur for a Sphynx. But not all over, just in strange clumps. So every once in a while, Teri shaves him, hahameow!

5. Sammy hates car rides, gets nervous and usually vomits, poops and pees before we arrive at our destination, requiring a major 'clean up on aisle 3' scenario.

6. Coco has one favorite toy, a corduroy catnip Christmas 'sock' . She carries it around and cries like she has 'prey' in her mouth or is carrying a newborn kitten--same kind of sound oddly enough.

7. Brighton got his name because our petsitter nicknamed him 'Surfer Dude' when he was a kitten, because we had a waterbed and he was playing on it and they made it 'wavy' for him.

The cats over at Bengalcatdomination said the rules specify that we have to pick 15 Irresistibly Sweet Bloggers to give this award to, and we started down our blogroll and wow, we know lots more than 15 sweet bloggers. What to do??

Sydney, our friend over at ADVENTURES IN NATURE gave us Award #7 today and we are beaming! Please take a moment to visit Sydney's Blogs, you will enjoy your "Adventure". Our 6th Awardie!

Last week, our kewl young furrend Hansel gave us an awardie, but Teri forgot to download it and then she couldn't remember who it came from either...so she sleuthed around today...starting at the end of the alphabet and luckily she came to us purrty fast as The World of Hansel was near the end of her bloglist!

We thank Hansel for thinking of Coco for this nice award, even though we don't like lemonade, we know Teri does (she says with a little Southern Comfort in it is even nicer!) MOL

Are we "Honestly Scrappy"?

The kitties and bunnies over at THE FLUFFIES have honored us with our 4th award. We just love this award icon, as it looks like a hard working human, letting us cats get in some naptime! We rarely get into scraps, but we are thinking this means we are tough cats with muscles, so we could rumble if we had to!



But Teri says it's an awardie just cuz we are such amazing cats and she is such an amazing storyteller that we have to brag about it! Ok, that sounds better than scrapping, anyway!

This award comes with some rules:

Someone thinks we're Kreativ! Well, we are resourceful cats, have Teri at our beck and call, so I guess they are right!

We think Teri does a good job telling the world about us, and well, our photos get lots o' comments, too. And our furs are VERY Kreativ!

and for those who want to know about the photo...This is Linus and his new friend, Tugboat. Linus was one of Furrydance Cattery's October kittens and he moved in with his new family, another Cornish Rex called Mr B and the first dog he ever met! But looks like they have become snuggle buddies in a short two weeks!

Teri's supposed to be working...

but she's on the computer instead, and guess what she found?

The very nice cabinet member Fin, Secretary of the Interior, sent Madame President an award for "her" blog!

Teri says she's all out of gas for acceptance speeches, but this is our first award and without Coco (and Fin's thoughtfulness) it wouldn't have been possible. And this award is all about making friends and we have made some new ones this past week and that is what blogging is all about!
