This is Nani, back in her show cat days about 12 years ago. She is a kitty I bought to be a momcat but she developed HCM (like what Charlie Taylor had) so I spayed her before she had any babies, and she was one of the first cats I ever dressed up.
I have been talking with Charlie's people about them getting another Cornish Rex from me and what would you all think if President Coco went to live with them?
I haven't talked to them about that possibility yet, but I am considering spaying her and letting her retire from mommyhood (umm, she sprays when she is in heat, that's a deciding factor in the decision to spay her, too).
She looks like a feminine version of Charlie Taylor, don't ya think?

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it would be so wonderful if they could have another Rex kitty!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so excited. ML would love to have another Cornish Rex! She looks so much like Charlie Taylor!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Teri for even thinking about it!!!
Deb
Auntie Deb got me up to come see this post. Unknown to her, I had been up earlier looking at Charlie Taylor's slideshow and crying.
ReplyDeleteI miss him so much.
And this little girl looks so much Charlie Taylor. And yet you can tell she is her own cat. And so pretty.
Wow.
Coco, would you like to come to Texas to live?
Love,
ML
Nani is beautiful! We think it would be wonderful if President Coco got to live with Charlie's people
ReplyDeleteThat's a pawsome idea!!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids

ReplyDeleteLuf, Us
That would be so nice to give Coco to ML! No one could replace Charlie but she would help fill a big hole in ML's heart!
ReplyDeleteO how wonderful!! We are sure that Madame Coco would have a wonderful home with the Sherwood Bunch. We all know what a great "Mom" ML is to all her furry-foots (never mind all her friends' pets and the herds that keep showing up at her door).
ReplyDeleteThere will never be another Charlie, but a curly-coated purry and, hopefully, a lap-sitter would go a long way to healing our dear ML. We're just saying...
This is one of the best ideas we've heard in a long while. It gets two tails up from us and a big thumbs up from Old Mumma!
Love and purrs from Meepsie, Smokey and Old Mumma Jan
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteMy cat and I stumbled onto your blog today. We've never met an Cornish Rex Cats before...they are so very elegant! ...and cooperative. I don't know that Katie (my cat) would appear so comfortable in costume.
I also read your profile...it touched my heart.
Peace to you,
Glogirly
Letting Coco join the Sherwood bunch sounds like a wonderful idea. ML is a wonderful cat mom and Coco would fit right in, I think.
ReplyDeleteOh Teri what a wonderful idea to give Coco to ML to help heal some of the pain of losing Charlie Cat. I hope Coco is a sweet natured lapkitty that sings lots and that would make her purrrrrrfect.
ReplyDeleteLove Miss Peach of the Devon Rex variety
Those are lovely outfits! If only I would let my Mom dress me up. Not! ~Tristan
