Thankful Thursday at the B & B...

How many cats out there have stayed at a B & B?
You know, a Bed & Breakfast Inn.

Well, for the past few weeks, our humble abode was also a B & B for two visiting Furrydance alumni.

We posted about Jasper and Clover coming to stay with us for 3 weeks while their humans were climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (humans do funny things to celebrate birthdays...).

Well, Jasper and Clover got to stay in our sumptuous guest room, with all the comforts of home, and more. They had a heated bed, and a Sunny Seat window perch to look out at the birdies and squirrels, too.

At first, they were a bit nervous and hissy. Even though Teri cleaned the room thoroughly and washed all the bedding...we think they could still smell us in there, as it's our favorite sunpuddle room.

But after a few days, they relaxed and were needing some kisses and massages, and Teri was more than happy to oblige them.

Just like cats do, they rearranged the bedcovers just to suit them, and they enjoyed playtime every day with a Neko Draggin Fly. But mostly they just napped and snacked...

We are sure they enjoyed their stay with us (even though we didn't get to meet and greet, or share a Nippy Hour with them) but just like most 'vacations', we know they will be happy to get back home and snuggle with their humans again.

  2. You all treat your guests very nice. They can't ask for better than a B&B and all that nice sunshine and attention. Hugs and nose kisses

  3. They took over you guys's sun puddle room!? Somehow that just doesn't seem fair. Jasper and Clover certainly got first rate service but the rest of you relegated to second class!

  6. We loved reading all of your comments on our blog today. It kept us warm!

WE cats have never stayed at a B&B, but it looks like the ones who came to "yours" were very lucky!

Our Mum says that when she was 12, she got to stay at a B&B in London, and was ecstatic to find a tabby cat nesting on her bed. The owner was mortified as the cats weren't supposed to be in guest rooms, but our Mum thought it was a super-terrific amenity!
